Medical, Dental & Vision
All full-time employees are eligible to enroll in a highly competitive and comprehensive benefit package. New River Systems contributes to the costs for medical, dental and vision coverage for employees and their families. There are two options in the medical plan for employee to choose from: PPO and a High Deductible Health Plan (HSA). To help employees with the cost of the HSA plan, New River Systems contributes to their Health Savings Account. If an employee chooses the PPO obtain, New River Systems participates in the Flexible Savings Account (FSA). Coverage for all benefit plans is effective on the first day of the month following the employee’s start date.
New River Systems offers employer paid short-term and long-term disability coverage for all regular, full-time employees. New River Systems believes in an income safety net if an employee is prevented from working due to an accident or illness.
Basic Term Life Insurance and Personal Accidental Injury Insurance
New River Systems provides 100% employer paid Basic Term Life and Accident & Dismemberment Insurance for our employees. The level of insurance is one times your salary for each benefit. Employees also have the option to purchase additional life insurance at a group rate which is affordable and is typically lower than going out on the open market for an individual policy.
New River Systems offers a 401(k)plan to help employees build financial security for their future. They can save for retirement and other future needs, as well as managing their investments to build their nest egg so they are able to retire. To reach these goals, New River Systems offers a generous matching 401(k) program through Principal Financial with all employees vested at 100%.
Paid Vacation and Holidays
New River Systems offers 10 paid holidays throughout the year. Other paid time off includes PTO ranging from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. New River Systems offers the option to rollover your PTO balance at the end of year so that you don’t loss it. New River Systems offers other types of paid time off to include Bereavement and Parental leave.
